Pain

by LuAnne   Jul 23, 2004

Pain is like kisses,
Just blown away.
Pain is like fire,
Always burned out.
Pain is like flowers,
Wilted at times.
Pain is like carpet,
Warn out.
Pain is like music,
Not always beautiful.
Pain is like pens,
Eventually dried out.
Pain is like shoes,
Full of holes.
Pain is like lights,
The bulbs will go out.
Pain is like erasers,
Taking away.
Pain is like hardwood floor,
Warped in several places.
Pain is like tress,
Hollow in side.
Basically
Pain is in everything.
But love is what conquers life.

Wow, very different poem, but in a way pretty true. I liked it, it's original. By the way, Inside is one word. Nice poem.
    Love,
