Yesterday i cried
as i sat and realized
that you would not be here
you were somewhere that was not near
i thought about all the good times we had
how we talked about everybody and laughed
they way you understood what i was going through
when i asked for your advice you knew what to do
but you have left just as i feared
now my smile is gone nothing is left but tears
all laughter is lost without you by my side
i wish you was here
so i would not have these tears
but your not so yesterday i cried
