I NEED TO TALK

I NEED TO TALK...
I know i need to talk,
but where should i start?
Every time i try,
i just can't speak from the heart.

These words inside,
are so hard to be said,
And every attempt,
Just makes it harder instead.

Tears are kept inside,
So afraid to be shown,
They'll come with the words,
that are afraid to be known.

I can't bare you to see,
The tears falling from my eyes,
to see all my sorrow,
that i've kept locked inside.

So these words of sorrow,
and these words of pain,
can never leave from me,
they'll always remain.

I've tried to speak from my heart,
and tell you the words from within,
But my fear takes me,
and i eventually give in.

I know i need to talk,
But i just can't seem to speak
I'm afraid you'll see my hidden tears
eventually fall from my cheek.

So here i'll sit in silence,
Not sure how to put into words,
Of all the despair and sorrow,
that so desperately needs to be heard.
