Love's Shadow Cast...

How could your love have made me so blind?
I've been trying to sort this out in my mind.

I never did realize all the wrong that you did.
I didn't see all the deception you hid.

All because love made me see whats not there.
Love made me believe that you really did care.

Love made me elated with joy from a lie.
And now it has caused each tear that I cry.

Then heartache takes over and makes me feel sorrow.
I fail at hoping for a bright tomorrow.

My days are all dim from love's shadow cast.
As I'm haunted by memories of a painful past!
