What would happen
If we hugged?

Would we stand there
For eternity, lost in each others arms?
Would we be able to let go,
And one of us depart?

What would happen
If we held hands?
Would it be as lovers,
Or just friends?

Would my stomach
Fill up with butterflies?
Would my hair stand on end?

What would happen
If we kissed?
Would it stop there,
Or would it turn into more?

Would it take my breath away,
Just to taste your lips?
Would my heart stop,
Or would it turn flips?

What would happen,
If we went beyond friends?

Would you stay the night,
Or rush back to your kids?
Would you hold me close,
As you laid next to me in bed?

What would happen
In the end?
Would I be just another chick,
Or would we remain as friends?
