Hardest Thing

Of all the things that i have had to do
The thing that hurt me the most
Is telling you how i feel
It was one of the hardest things
I have ever had to do
I am so sorry for hurting you
But i felt it was the right thing
that had to be done
I didn't want to ruin what we did have
I care about you so much
So please don't resent me
for what i have done
In time i hope that you can forgive me
But until then remember this
