My dog for a day

My neighbour has a dog named muffin,
And I wanted to borrow her for a day,
So I grabbed her bag and threw her stuff in,
And with me I took her away.

I took her to my house,
fed her some food,
she chewed and chewed on my blouse,
Till she was in the sleepy mood.

So we decided to take a nap,
And after about an hour or so,
I was awakened with muffin in my lap
Trying to bite off my toe!!

I rummaged through her bag,
And found a ball to keep us busy,
Then decided to play tag,
Played and played till we got dizzy.

It was now time to say goodbye,
I could feel a falling tear,
I dint realize how the day went by,
She had to go now,it was clear.

I wish I had a dog of my own,
A cute,sweet,cuddly one,
Then maybe I wouldn't be all alone,
And it would be so much fun!!

I have no brother,no sister,
None were sent from above,
So I wish I had a tiny ball of fur,
To care about,cuddle, and love.

its kinda babyish...but i really want a dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:-(
