One God

There can only be
one God
there is no other
you may have your
saints, popes, bishops
and I may not have them
and that's ok
because we both share
a love, an adoration,
a faith
and the desire to
grow closer to
the one and only God
creator of Earth,
creator of you and I
the one to whom
we owe our lives,
the one whom
gave us
life, love,
happiness,
friendship
and who's love
is never ending
no matter
how many times
we mess up
or what
we do wrong
we are forever
guaranteed a love
that doesn't end
from the
one God
He is God of my life
and God of your life
