I wish I could tell you,
but for now I'll have to wait
That this way I feel inside
I sometimes hate.
Because I can't put them into words
For you to hear
Or tell you how much
I really want you near
I don't know how you feel
And I'm not sure I ever will
So I'll try and tell you how I feel,
These feelings inside I know are real
I wanna hold you in my arms
And kiss your gentle lips
I know it sounds corny
To tell you all of this
But when I'm not with you,
It's you that I miss.
I wish I could tell you everything and more
About the way I feel inside..
That I can't for one moment
Not think about you, and wonder
If you're thinking of me too
But I don't know what to say
Without scaring you away
So I'll try and keep my feelings inside
Until I feel the time is right
I'll put them in a safe place
With a lock and no key
And maybe these feelings inside will erase
But for now I guess I'll just have to wait and see
