My Heart

I know i can start over and find someone new,
But why is my heart saying that i still like you?
I try to get over the whole thing that went on,
Put it in the past and pretend it is all gone.
But i see you every day and the more and more i fall,
I sit by the phone in hopes that you will call.
Maybe you will tell me that you still want to date,
Or even that, that little bit of infatuation never turned to hate.
Maybe we can try again start over new.
Because my heart is now telling me that i REALLY do love you!
