Day after Day

by CR   Jul 26, 2004

When morning comes the night will flee
I just wish I could see

With the morning comes the dawn
I wish my mind wasn't gone

The dawn starts off the day
Too bad my heart was on your tray

Day invites the heat
Your smile now makes me feel like dead meat

Chasing behind the day is the dusk
My body feels like an empty husk

The evening brings the bugs
If I could only find some more drugs

Bugs end in the night
If only you hadn't been in my sight

I remember when I wrote this, I had know you (Persephone) for just about a month. After I met you I couldn't stop thinking about how easy to talk to you were. Hence I felt like my mind was eating itself in thoughts about you.
