I wear no uniforms, no navy blues or army greens. But I am in the Navy so said to be in the ranks hardly ever seen. I have no rank on my shoulder. No rate under my belt, Salutes I do not give. But the military is where I live. I'm not in the chain of command. Orders I do not get, nor give. My husband so strong and proud is the one who does. I'm not the one who fires the gun, nor am I the one who puts my life on the line, like he does. My job is just as tough. I'm the one thats left behind. My husband is brave and prideful, and stands tall for his country. The call to serve not all can understand. Behind the lines I see the things needed to keep the USA free. We all make sacrifices, but the men and women of the military make them all. I love the man I married, but I stand among the silent ranks known as a Navy Wife!
