Mother-To-Be~~~To-my-unborn-baby

As i sit and write this poem i look around the room,and realize my life is changing unexpected and all so soon.

I'm way too young for this change, but I'll do all that i can, to make you a wonderful young lady, or a great young man.

I'll love you no matter what anyone may say, I'll love you my child, until my dying day.

I thank God everyday that he sent you to me, i know the reason he sent you here, he had to make me see.

See that I'm really not alone i never was and never will be, I now know there are so many people who love and care for me.

These wonderful people care for you too, no matter what in your life you may do.

You can do anything you set your mind to do, but please steer clear of what i did, i was too young to have you.

But don't think i regret it, baby i never will, like i said, i know why God sent you to me, i know his deal.

Maybe someday I'll tell you all about why he sent you to me, maybe I'll tell you why at fifteen he made me a mother to be.
