My Mother

by Jacki   Jul 28, 2004

My mother and I went threw many years of bumpy roads.
I even went so far as to move many miles away.
Just to get away from her.
But with the distance between us,
I realized how important she was to me.
I needed her help towards the end and she came to pick me up.
And there she was to bring me home.
Now we are the best of friends.
I tell her things I sometimes don't think she wants to hear.
But as a good mother she listens intently and gives her opinion.
Because she is a wonderful mother.
I'm 22 years old and i often call her mommy.
Because even as we age I'll alway be that little girl who sat upon her lap. Because as she once said i am still her baby.
So mom i just want to tell you i would not be who i am today if i never had your guidances.

I love you mom!!!
