Little girl

The little is girl crying
Her cries turn to screams
She seems so lost
Like she has nobody

Little girl left alone
Like everyday
No one is home
No one ever calls

In so much pain
This little girl lives
Each and everyday
Of her life it’s so hard

When her daddy gets home
He’s in a bad mood
He hits her so hard
She almost dies

With bruises all over her body
She hobbles to bed
She doesn’t know any better
She’s only eight

The next morning
Daddy is dead
What does she do?
She dials 911

Then collapses on the floor
When the ambulance shows up
They take them both away
The little girl is gone forever
She’s in a better place
