Enchanted

by Rose   Jul 29, 2004

You'd think you always knew me,
From the look that's in your eyes.
But in your soul its clear to see,
your smile is just disguise.

My heart melts when I hear you speak,
With each word I fall,
As if all th' courage I've come to seek
was never found at all.

I turn my back in bliss and dazed,
Yet your false intentions reek
roam the world confidence unfazed,
and for a new lost soul you seek.

Most often self betrayal
When you cause my heart to swell
I find myself stay loyal
enchanted by your spell.
