As if on Lonley Horse I Ride

by Rose   Jul 29, 2004

As if on lonely horse I ride,
Throughout life's heavy weighted stride.

Life's stallion merely paces
Solemn, and discreet,
Numbed to the masked faces
of lies and deceit.

As if on lonely horse I ride,
Throughout life's heavy weighted stride.

Hope's hooves brush the surface
secretly searching for love in all its grace
Await, for soon my smile will fade,
off this heartless face.

As if on lonely horse I ride,
Throughout life's heavy weighted stride.

Hey, I liked the repetitive lines, that was cool, it was pretty well written, but could have been elaborated on. Great job though, Keep writing.
