All I Seem To Do Is Write About You

by Sarah Hotard   Jul 29, 2004

I could write
all night
Put my words onto paper
bout my hopes and my dreams
I could think of many things to do but all my thoughts lead back to you
And I return and get stuck

You think you know how I feel
but you think I do not know the difference between fake and real
but this is right
I could write all night

But all I seem to do is write about you
my head is filled with thoughts of us
When I sit down and lift up my pen
I think of all the times when...
when we were together

I guess you think because I am young
my feelings are shocked
Boys and toys
what the hell?
they are all the same

Sometimes I have to fight myself to sleep at night
I like to be alone
when...
when I write

But all I seem to do is write about you
my head is filled with thoughts of us
When I sit down and lift up my pen
I think of all the times when...
when we were together

Yes, I know
this is cool
We play our cards
we use the tools
that are given to us

Well, you played me and I realize
this pen is left me to compromise
the next line on this story
so take it from me...

All I seem to do is write about you
the words I say
take your breath away

As I look up at the stars
I twirl my hair and smile
I look at you
say, I love you
you repeat, I love you to
then I raise my pen and...
write about you
