My goodbye..

I slit my wrists today with but a razor blade..

Let the blood flow freely down my wrists..on to my once white sheets

Now covered in blood that I have shed.

Blood stained sheets we both shall remember, forever.

Thinking finally,desperately.

Finally this pain will fade.

Finally I can get away, escape.

But as I took one last breath.

You rushed into my room I'll never forget the look on your face as you begged me to stay..

Death called for me.

"I'm sorry I have to go" I said.

There was no escape.

What I saw next broke my heart in two...

I saw you below with unshed tears rolling down your beautiful face.

Holding me close as if to bring me back once more to life.

As if not wanting to ever say goodbye

But you knew my time had already passed...

You knew you had missed your final chance.

I watched as you continued to cry.

Before finally whispering one last goodbye through tears,and crossing over to the other side of to another life.
