Bleeding love

by Rose   Jul 29, 2004

Sitting alone she waits for dawn,
a time to give her hope.
White light reaches down as curtains are drawn,
a hand to help her cope.
She travels through another day,
dazed and censored to warmth.
Her shield repels the unbroken, leaving her world gray.
Unknowing, her dreams reach out
searching for the setting sun
draining from her heart the doubt
inscribing in her conscious soul, the world need not be shunn'd.
Still she fights against the feeling,
prying at her guilt.
The voice that makes her heart start healing,
hoping for the love inside, the bitter scale to tilt.
She spends her days,
bathing in pain.
Sudding her fears and all her dismays,
waiting for the darkness out of her heart to drain.
