The Black Rose

by Rona   Jul 30, 2004

Rain falls from the sky
The angels cry
Tears of blood for pain and suffering
Ten-thousand years of wondering
Velvet sky turned cold and gray
All of them had nothing to say
Wishing the pain would go away
Wishing for a brand new day
Singing songs of misery
Pain is the base of their mystery
Their hearts and souls slowly die
Cos' their lives were just a lie
Hear the voices of the dead
Listen to what was said
Emptiness is what they chose
That was the way of The Black Rose

I liked this. The flow was good and the whole poem itself was wonderful, although kind of sad. 5/5
