NO ONE TO SOMEONE

My sun has set, it no longer shines,
no one to say, they are mine,
my moon is out behind a cloud,
my loneliness is like a shroud,

no one to care, how I feel,
no one to say their love is real,
no one to reach out and to touch
no one to say, you mean so much,

no one to whisper in the night
hold me closer, hold me tight,
no one to share a single thought
it seems my life has been for naught,

I walk alone,everyday
hoping, I'll meet someone along the way,
someone who is alone like me,
someone who wants my company,

someone who will call me dear,
someone who is always near
someone who can make me smile,
when they say, another mile,

someone to take my shaky hand,
someone to say they understand,
then neither one will be alone,
my house will then, become a home.
