Show me who you are inside
I promise I won’t turn away
I want to feel what you have felt

Known only for a short bit of time
Yet, years is how long it feels
Your inside-jokes and clever wit
They’ve kept me on my heels

I want to hear your thoughts
Intriguing, in my eyes you’re seen
My world has become a better place
Knowing you know how I’ve been

I can’t help but feel disappointed
We both know we may never meet
Star-crossed amity may fall to ruin
Our synergies left incomplete

You may not feel that you’re special
Sometimes I’ve felt that way too
If anyone could put change my heart
I know it would surly be you

Life’s journey is long and confusing
But I know we can make it together
No fears of feeling that I’m all alone
Now that I’ve found my Heather
