YOU ALWAYS UNDERSTOOD
I've told you quite a few things,
that I never thought i would,
But one thing that doesn't surprise me,
is that you always understood.

I told you that i hated life,
and that i didn't care anymore,
I said I didn't have any motivation,
which i did before.

You know me fairly well,
well enough to know I better than this
That the positive attitude I had before,
somewhere still exists.

I remember you telling me,
that my life was no mistake,
that God had it all planned out,
all things that I was to undertake.

but I denied what you said,
I didn't want to believe that it was true
That God held my life in his hands,
I guess even yours too.

I also told you i was angry inside,
and that It was because of me,
But i never said anymore,
Just held back my desperate plea.

But all the things I've told you,
that i never thought i would,
there's one thing that doesn't surprise me,
the fact you always understood.
