I lost you

by Walter F Alvarado   Jul 31, 2004

I always thought you where a pretty good girl.
You made me laugh when I was sad.
You brought me up when I felt low.

Over the years I started to like you more and more.
Until a point came and I said no more.
I tried to tell you how I felt , but my mouth froze everytime.
One day I was definitely going to tell you.
but i found out it was too late, you died in a car accident the night before.
The day they buried you, they buried a part of me that loved you and still does.

*I don't know where you are, but I know your somewhere up there, God bless you, and don't forget I miss you*

Hey I liked this poem. It is supposed to be "were" not "where" on the first line of the poem. I think that this poem can be improved though. You can speak a bit more about your feelings, and the whole car incident. I know this is a personally meaningful topic, so if you decide not to change the poem, that is fine.
