Until the end

by Dany   Jul 31, 2004

She was once a child,
A child with many dreams.
Like other children she loved to laugh
She loved to smile…

But that invisible monster appeared.
He took everything from her,
Her family, her friends…
Her smile…

Sadly, that was not one of those fairytales,
She knew she would fight,
No matter what…
She faced every second of her life.

So much of people left her alone,
They left her alone in misery.
Even her family had no more hope,
Her mind is burning alive now…

I thought I could do something,
And I realised she was very happy,
She lived with her sadness,
She believed in life.

One day, I woke up in the morning,
I went upstairs,
And my mother told me this…
She left us…

I liked her a lot and I still do,
She fought for 16 years…
She’s free now.
And you can always say she lost… if you dare…

? Someday we will all meet again with you and every single tears will dry ?

Well, I wanted to keep this poem for myself but... Life is not easy for everyone, sometimes we have little problems and other times not. That's part of life and that's how we're supposed to live after all... I guess you all know that. But I want you to know there's always a way to climb out of the hell, some of you probably have no more parents, no more life, no more hope. But we?re all human, we're able to fight! you only need to smile and appreciate life as it is and you're gonna win that fight. In this text I talked about a girl that I knew who fought for her life during 16 years, nobody around her wanted to help her... But no matter what, she didn?t want to give up! She died... she died with a smile...

We must not give up, life has been given to us... it's a precious gift! We, people, are not gonna die for nothing, we are gonna die for the things and the people we love! Together...

Never give up...

*In memory to a good friend*
