Forbidden Love

by Rose   Jul 31, 2004

Still no notice of hate,
No sign of mistrust,
As you tell me sharp words,
Through my heart daggers to thrust.

The look in your eyes,
and the tone of your voice,
tell me those spoken words
were not of your choice.

Your voice feeds my heartache,
which tears at my chest,
those days that I spent with you
were some of my best.

You speak with regret,
and I feel as thereof,
the towering heartache
of our forbidden love.

Now for the first time,
I beg for release,
for reason to cause
my heart's bleeding to cease

I realize now,
Our hearts will match ever more
As my forbidden love,
walks out of the door.

Hello again, i was entirely satisfied either, but it described what i was feeling at the time, so between the heartache and tears i suppose theres more behind it than can be read. Fair enough though, i appreciate your oppinion keep it comming :) thank you so much stephen
