Something Missing

When I woke this morning,
and you were gone.
It felt like I was lost,
empty space, where my sun once shone.

I woke up this morning,
nothing to wake to,
my day seems to drag,
not seeing you.

I woke up this morning,
with only half a heart,
the rest will always be with you,
even if we are apart.

Maybe I wont wake up the next morning,
God only knows,
maybe I'll just forget,
It was fate I suppose.
