This day Ill never forget
A day Ill live in regret
Regret that I wasnt there
To see you for one last tym
before you vanished into thin air
its been 9 years since Ive seen my mother
not a day goes by that we dont wish to see each other
I still remember what the officer said
When he told me my mom was dead
I was so young and no shoulder to cry on
Just to have the thought that my mom was gone
He was drunkthe man that hit her
And he walked out without a scratch either
I wish I could have said I loved her before she went goodbye
To leave me all alone why did she have to die
I loved her dear I miss her so
If she ok and shes well Id like t know
But mom I love you and really miss you
