I never became a junior
I never finished school
I didn't make the softball team
all because of you
I missed out on track meets
basketball and football games
all because you decided
to make yourself insane
homecoming and swirl
i wasn't nominated for queen
prom wasn't any different
all because you did a bad thing
I missed my best friend's b-day
my cousins graduation celebration
i didn't see my sis in her play
you felt you had to live up to your friends expectations
my friends had on their caps and gowns
but i wasn't by their side
they all got their diplomas.. but i didn't
all because you chose to drink and drive
