Everyone Tells Me

by youre_as_welcome_as_cancer   Aug 2, 2004

Everyone tells me
There is so much to live for
But the pain from the knife is relieving
But as soon as I star bleeding
Tears flow from my eyes
So my heart picks up its pace
I look down and cover my wrist
And beg for my own forgiveness
My head stars pounding
My stomach goes all in knots
Guilt comes upon me
And pulls me down
I cant believe what Ive done
I wonder why I ever would
Do this in the first place
But at the time it feels so right
Then I realize its so F-ucking wrong

I know how you feel. :-(, Amazing poem. Your thoughts are so well portrayed. Keep it up!

p.s.- "You're as welcome as cancer" is a line from a song by Matchbook Romance (if I remember correctly.) Is that where you got it from? [ I like it a lot! ]
