I'm an American Girl

by Jordan   Aug 2, 2004

We live an American life do we;
and let me tell you what i see.
All the simple American things,
that mean yet so much to me.

Like a simple piece of frosting and cake;
to sitting simply by a lake.

These things may mean nothing to you,
but their importance to me is oh so true.

I love to run and play in the yard;
and chew mah bubble gum til it`z hard.

I love to go and stay at the beach;
expecially at nyte, with the stars at mah reach.

I always sit and watch the new blossoms bloom;
then picc some and put them in a vase in mah room.

When i eat ice cream, it dribbles down mah chin;
and tha cool, tasty feeling always makes me grin.

I'm a cheerleader who loves shooting hoops and football;
and when we win, we walk strong and tall.

I love lazy, warm summer nytes;
with lttle boyz that ghet in stupid fytes.

I most appreciate mah ryte to be free;
which is why i'm an American girl,
and i love to be me!
