Inside His Head

by Jordan   Aug 2, 2004

...this poem is told as if i were in the head of my summer love and this is what i hope hes thinking .. i miss you* =(

Our hook up was nothing more than a fling;
lasted only a month, can`t even call it a thing.

You made me smile, laugh, and cry;
but now that i`m home, mah feelings : awry.

You said you loved me, but how can that be;
since that one month we lasted, you were rarely with me.

You were busy, yes, you told in your folklore;
but an effor too see me would have meant more.

More to me than an excuse or lie;
or smaccing mah bacc lyk a wallflower fly.

Your reflection i see, where ever i go;
now i wonder why i said no.

700 miles and 14 months apart;
doesn`t mean you don`t have a place in mah heart.

And yet even thou you think i`m stubborn and proud;
next summer i`ll hug you, and say `i love you` out loud.
