Tomorrow's Light

by Brandon Evans   Aug 2, 2004

Extending your hand into mine
Heartwarming smile, your visage
Standing on the edge of tomorrow
Our past, now but a mirage

Road, littered with chaos
Guiding light was never clear
Stumbling; yet somehow broke free
Together we?ve made it here

A journey into the unknown
We?ll take first steps in stride
Not alone, Not afraid
There is nothing we need to hide

I want to show you a world
A world without hate and sin
Drop your guard; open your heart
Our place lies deep within

Both been through much hardship
But now we are born anew
Love be trust and trust be love
My life, I pledge to you

The path ahead, a mystery
Our lives have only begun
Sharing the future hand in hand
Our souls will shine as one
