As i began to drift off to sleep,
I feel a moist kiss upon my cheek.
With the words \\\"Sweet Dreams\\\"
Ringing in my ear,
The dark figure suddenly disappears.
The nightmares come every night,
As soon as the door shuts,
And i turn off the light.
I should be frightened
But im not at all.
I\\\'m really amused by them all.
Instead of screaming out to my mother,
I laugh hysterically
As the dreams are no other.
I feel insane,
Like I\\\'m crazy or psychotic.
Then i began to smile
As i came out of the nightmares
With the words \\\"sweet dreams\\\"
Forever ringing in my ear.
