High Priced Love

by Natalie coleman   Aug 4, 2004

You promised me your heart
I treasured yours, while you tore mines apart

You promised me a tear free life
Instead you made me cry

You promised to never hurt me
But i was soon in emergency

You promised me heaven
Instead you gave me hell

You promised me love forever
If I wouldn't tell

But I could not take it anymore
So now our love is lost

I realized for your love
I had to pay too high of a cost
