Meant to Be?

This is so hard for me,
Just to sit here and write,
My feelings within me,
It's taking all my might.

I haven't seen you,
For so many weeks,
It's been hard without you,
You are what my heart seeks.

I have no clue,
If your feelings are still there,
I know mine are,
Hopefully you still care.

We used to talk,
And laugh everyday,
Suddenly that's gone,
I can't change it in any way.

The next time I see you,
Will be back in school,
When you try to be someone,
Who thinks he's so cool.

You know you're not that cool,
You're not that person at all,
Beneath that smile you show,
Is a person so small.

If that real you is still there,
Show him to me,
So I can believe,
That you and me are meant to be.
