Stuck in this room
The darkness blinds me
Drenched in this satin gloom
Where's the key?

Deaths at my door
My soul's not mine anymore
They say these are illusions
Summertime delusions??

Bordering on madness
Running on the edge
Drowning in sadness
Break this pledge

These lines they don't rhyme
Wish I could buy more time
Your pictures on the shelf
I wish I could face myself

Your eyes the scorch my soul
Sorrows that are beyond control
Black curtains across your face
Like lies that I can't erase

You have gone away

Can't sleep
These monsters hunt me

Dead man's stare
The devil's glare
