Silent cries for help

by thomas ayotte   Aug 5, 2004

I'm a sheltered kid
lost in my dreams
no one knows I'm here
you stare as i start to scream

I'm never heard
just misunderstood
give you my trust
tell me why i should

you point and stare
like I'm different from you
and i always will be
no matter what you do

screw you all
and all your games
another tear drops
and i know who to blame

your words hurt
they are quite strong
in my heart i know
who is right and who is wrong

i like to be different
so unlike everyone
you will never know the harm
your shallow words have done

i wish you nothing
but to feel my pain
then the jokes would stop
and maybe you wouldn't be so vain.
