Someday is Today (Kyrielle Sonnet)

by Brandon Evans   Aug 5, 2004

Shown me life known only in dreams
Her tender embrace diluted my screams
Tears fall away, her bright smile gleams
Someday I’ll know true love

Alien feelings; there’s something amiss
Instilled, her being, in my heart’s abyss
Night fell away as we shared a soft kiss
Someday I’ll know true love

Yesterday not, but an era of shame
Tomorrow’s road lit by her inner flame
Faith be restored, will I proclaim
Someday I’ll know true love

Shown me life known only in dreams
Someday I’ll know true love

terrific job - well written and very descriptive and effective for what you were trying to achieve with the sonnet! I loved it and was well worth a five

hey nice work buddy. Don't worry about how the pattern is. I'm sure others will get it. It's all about the feeling really. Keep it up.
