i bet you don't care
i bet you don't even see
these tears will not leave
nights I've cried myself to sleep
nights upon nights
it has gone on too long
i cant control when they come
i cant control when they go
out of nowhere they drop
and i am stuck wondering why
i bet you didn't know that
you might maybe care
but you probably cant see
for weeks now these tears have yet to cease
for nights now i have cried
at night you can tell
the eyes reddened and moisten
days sometime the same
outside few can tell
that the tears still fall
i bet you weren't paying enough attention
to see all the pain i am causing me.
