A Secret I can't Tell

by Timothy   Aug 6, 2004

Bonnie is my best friend,
We are together every day;
We were born one day apart,
When our mothers were children they used to play.

My name is Johnny,
I love playing ball, catching frogs and fishing;
Bonnie used to like these things,
But now she wants to wear make-up, dress up, and try kissing!

Although mommy says we are getting older,
I still try to get Bonnie to do the things we used to do;
We are only eight years old,
But I think ten years she has grew!

Lately, Bonnie has been different,
I know it's not only because she's a girl;
She's grown quiet and non-trusting,
The person I knew is gone in a whirl.

I found out the reason,
One day when I saw her cry;
She turned to me with her big, blue eyes,
And she told me her tale with a sigh.

She made me promise her,
If I do, I wish for Hell;
Her Daddy did something awful to her,
But it's a secret I can't tell.

    if you rewrite this line "But I think ten years she has grew!" it wouldn't be so terrible.

    Now about my poems......For the first one about the ghost it was a seriouse of 3. You read the last one. You would have known if you read the first one. That was stated in the very first comment. ANyways thank you for your comment.

    Also For my second one "I HATE YOU"
    that poem was completly real and really happend to me!!!! When that was over I really wanted to have a gun. That ending fit the ending of how i felt. SO wheither you would change it i will not because its how i felt at that very moment.
