Letting Go of Love

by Sammie Moore   Aug 7, 2004

Echo's of voices pounding through her mind, beckoning her to the breaking of her heart all over again. Why had it ended? What was so wrong with loving someone? She thought love was supposed to ease the pain, not cause it to burn deeper into the heart. How is it possible to love someone one minute, and then just stop calling the next? The pictures keep replaying in her mind, still not making any sense. Had he just been using her? Was she so unlovable that he took her virginity and left? Could someone be that shallow? Did something happen to him? Is that why he hadn't called? Whatever the reason, she is over him now. Ready to move on, to forget the past. But who else could love her? Maybe she really isn't over him yet.
