Abusive boyfriend

You said you loved me
and i believed you
now I know it was never meant to be

The scars and bruises tell the tale
of how he killed me
and won't get a bail

The beatings began right from the start
he said he would never do it again
and ended it with a knife in my heart

He comes home I'm sitting down
he picks me up and throws me
all i can do is look at him with a confused frown

The story gets worse from there
each time he hit me
I knew it wasn't fair

One day he came home holding out a knife
