I thought I saw a robin, one day in early spring,
there is nothing prettier, than a robin on the wing,
I hear it's hardy CHEER-UP, each morning at dawn,
when I get to the window, the robin's usually gone,
it has got it's worm and flew to it's robins nest,
there it has to feed it's young, and then to get some rest,
the bird is here all summer long, and into early fall,
but then it just disappears, and I miss that robins call,
so when you see a robin and the snow is on the ground,
it has come so early so we can hear it's wondrous sound,
make sure that you put out some food, to keep the robin alive,
without out our help everyday, that bird will not survive.
