One Thing To Remember

by Bryce Ellner   Aug 7, 2004

A petal falls to cold ground,
Black as the clouded night.
Angels swoop to pick it up,
But darkness prevails.

Its kind of like life in away.

You fall into this cold world,
So full of deception and hatred,
And if someone takes the time to see
You've already fallen too far.

This dark and loathing world
Doesn't bend for anyone.
And in that reality.
Everyones the same
This world bends to nothing
There are no exceptions.
Not for the rich, not for the poor.
Not for the liked, not for the scorned.

yeah i really like this poem, its message is very true. although sometimes its seems so people get away with things, it comes back to haunt them. btw, you should read my poem, "isn't it time", i think you'll like it. xmollyxx
