True cost of love

by dalin   Aug 7, 2004

He always falls in love with Magdalena
Not once , but a thousand times
Every time he sees her ,is a first time
Every time he hears her voice , a new voice
Every time he touches her , a new touch

Don't send me so far away
I can barely reach
Sometimes I wonder how far you have taken me
And given me this scar
marking me down
Leaving me with this sketch
A serrated edge

Although we're both strangely uneven , she is seemingly smooth
and wants all at this particular moment
Because of this I have nailed my hands in a Jesus Christ pose
and taken away her hidden hurts
One day I'll read her mind taking this Crucifixion to it's furthermost point and reveal it's true worth
This I will call Love

Shows a lot of passion. Very strong energy that is absolutely necessary for good poetry and generally for Art. Thanks.
