Diamonds and Emeralds

by Richard Bottary   Aug 8, 2004

The essence of angels, the passion of fire
Radiant energy that I long desire.
A crystal casing, a flaming core
Shimmering like sunset rays on the ocean shore.
A beautiful scene shown from within
As graceful as rose pedals dancing in the wind.
Tear drops sweet like the morning dew
Sensitive as rain while the sun shines through.

Two eternal jewels, so precious, so fine
Ever so romantic as you gaze into mine.

Emitting a glow you long to behold
Lighting inner shadows, saying emotions untold.
A liquid surface, a glimmering shine
Like a river that flows through eternal time.
A gentle sight giving a feeling of ease
As delicate as grass waving in the breeze.
Thy sweet nectar arise, emitting reflection
Tender streams of love catching affection.

Four heavenly treasures perfectly set into place
Our hearts stay forever as we admire such grace.
No forces unseen shall take your arms from mine
For the love we share is truly one of a kind.

The meaning is certainly hidden. It makes it so much more interesting to read and gives it mystery. You've got a talent, keep writing.
