My Book

by Christy Carpenter   Aug 9, 2004

These pages in my book
Are coffee-stained and thin.
They have begun to tear,
Noone can read again.

Blood splotches all over it,
Dripping to the bottom.
Leading you to the end,
Never to be forgotten.

The last page is coming,
I hesitate to look.
For what I see is coming
Doesn't belong in my book.

Here is the finaley,
Here is my last page.
Nothing is left to read,
There is nothing left to say.
