For Hours

by Lisa   Aug 9, 2004

I could stare at you for hours,
At your beautiful face,
Your lovely blue eyes,
And your warming embrace

I could kiss you for hours,
Your soft lucious lips,
The movement of your tongue,
And the way your head dips

I could touch you for hours,
your warm glowing skin,
The softness that I feel,
As I soak the moment in

I could think of you for hours,
The things that you say,
The way that you touch me,
How I wish that you could stay

I could talk to you for hours,
The sound of your voice,
That way that you laugh,
It makes me want to rejoice

I miss you for hours,
You seem so far away,
Although you always visit,
You tell me everyday

I wonder what you're doing
For the hours that you're away

Thinking of me, Missing me,
Is what you call to say.

What a touching love poem. I really liked this. My partner and I used to have a long distance relationship, but when the time was right he moved closer to me. I hope it all works out for you too. The way you described the things you could do were so lovely and sincere. Very well done.
